Megan Knoell, DVM, CVA, CVMMP Dr. Knoell is a native of Goshen, NY who attended SUNY-ESF for environmental science and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Knoell completed her internship year at Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center in Cave Creek, AZ. She has special interests in dentistry, lameness, managing geriatrics, and integrative medicine. Dr. Knoell has also received certifications in mixed animal acupuncture and equine spinal medical manipulation (chiropractic) from The Chi University in Florida.
Amanda W, Veterinary Assistant Amanda is our right hand wo(man) who keeps all things running smoothly and organized at Knoellwood Equine. You’ll catch her doing everything behind the scenes, including but not limited to, handling horses, helping with lameness exams, assisting with dentals, blood draws, and diagnostic imaging. When she’s not working long days with Dr. Meg, Amanda enjoys ranch riding with her daughter and their four quarter horses.
